Strongly influenced by the weather during the 1998 vintage, the Brut 1998 is an impressive combination of richness and elegance. The high proportion of Chardonnay Grands Crus has given a very refined Champagne, beautifully balanced with freshness and a delicate, toasty aroma.
Vinification Note :
The 1998 vintage was characterised by a warm, stable growing period. The 1998 Brut is a blend of 49% Chardonnay sourced from the Cotes des Blancs and the Montagne des Reims, while the 51% Pinot Noir comes from the Montagne des Reims and the Vallee de la Marne.
